Pacific Gray Whale Sighted!

Sources tell us a Pacific Gray Whale was sighted at the entrance to Baynes Sound this weekend. The whale was said to have been just 100 yards offshore in about 15 feet of water near Chrome Island Light Station. Folks living along the shore of Gainsberg Road in Deep Bay reportedly could witness the feeding/rubbing behavior only a few feet from the beach for hours on end.
